While we wait for monday, Eddy invited us to join him and his family to work in the rice fields. We happily accepted this invitation and he introduced us in the village where his late parents were born and to the rest of his family. After visiting his mothers grave we ate together with his family.
Afterwards he showed us around in the area explaining about the local wildlife and lands, before taking us to the rice field where we quickly joined in to plant the seeds. We learned a lot about the art of planting rice and vastly underestimated the finesse the job requires to do it right. We were surprised by how much one field can produce. It comes to no surprise that rice is one of the biggest commodities being cultivated by everyone.
Later in the day we continued the preparations for the paperwork and also finished the first digital audiobook for the children.
